About The Distillery
Our Start
In 2011 Adrian Panther set out with a simple idea: bring great spirits to Minnesota. Adrian has always been an entrepreneur and a whiskey aficionado. He decided to team up with the most talented individual he knew to distill his spirits, Brett Grinager. Brett learned the art of distilling from some of the most well respected distillers in the United States and brings a level of experience, ingenuity and creativity that cannot be matched.
Our Environment
We set up our distillery where we were–in the heart of pristine lake country in Osakis, Minnesota. All we’d ever need to make great tasting whiskey is right in our backyard. Everything here is exposed to all four seasons and our spirits are no exception. Cold aging is one phase our barrels go through every year and it is one characteristic that makes our spirits unique. In Minnesota we don't fear the cold, we embrace it and use it to our advantage.
Our Equipment
When it comes to distilling, the most precious metal is copper. Our three 500-gallon copper stills are American made and are the engine to our distillery. We use charred American White Oak barrels to age our spirits in because it's the highest quality possible.
Our Ingredients
The best whiskey starts with best ingredients. We don’t have to look far to find fresh, locally grown yellow corn, red wheat, and red rye that we use in our mash. All of our grain comes from within 30 miles from our Distillery. Not only do we source locally, but we see our product from Start to Finish as some of our Distillers grow the grain that goes into our spirits.
Around town
The Distillery Osakis, MN
Here is where we distill our spirits and this is the location of our Gift Shop. We offer tastings and free tours daily. Get more info on tours here.
Browerville, MN
In 2013 a fire and an explosion left this old Land O' Lakes factory inoperable. We purchased this building in 2017 and we are using this space to store and age our whiskey and bourbon.
Grain Elevator Osakis, MN
You cannot miss this building in downtown Osakis! This is where we mill all of our own grain for the mash.
The Wedum Building Alexandria
This building was built in 1907 and it has lived many lives. It is currently home to hundreds of barrels of spirits that are aging.
The Creamery
Osakis, MN
You probably could guess, but this used to be the old Osakis Creamery. We now used it for our offices and as our bottling facility.
